AuntBee09's Updates...

  • May 6, 2009: I was forced to switch homepages from GooglePages to Blogspot/Blogger due to Google transitioning out the GooglePages program and not allowing html uploads (or Adsense) on their new GoogleSites program.
  • May 6, 2009: AuntBee09 videos has reached a total of over three million viewers!
  • December 12, 2008: I made annotations in my YouTube videos that link most of them together.
  • December 8, 2008: I uploaded images as thumbnails on some videos.
  • November 29, 2008: I updated the titles and tags of some YouTube videos.
  • November 15, 2008: I added closed captioning to many of my videos, so that those without hearing can enjoy my work; in addition, people who speak a foreign language can use the translation feature.
  • June 2, 2008: I made commenting no longer allowed on my videos, due to personal reasons.
  • June 1, 2008: OVER TWO MILLION (2,000,000) VIEWS ON MY VIDEOS!!!!!! Thank for the support everyone!
  • April 23, 2008: I switched my webpage hosting from Yahoo Geocities (at http://www.geocities.com/auntbee09/) to GooglePages (at http://auntbee09.googlepages.com/index.htm). Now I can post advertisements to my website for profit (Geocities did not allow users to do that at that; they showed their own advertisements instead).
  • March 28, 2008: I gave my homepage a new look and added new html code to make it more search-engine friendly. Also, I accomplished having over 400 subscribers in the past week.
  • March 22, 2008: I updated the some things on the website, including making a more organized "Links" section: http://auntbee09.googlepages.com/Links.html.
  • March 12, 2008: I got bored and made a new "AuntBee09 Background," which you can download from my homepage at http://auntbee09.googlepages.com/index.htm.
  • March 12, 2008: I just started the YouTube Partner Program (with Google Adsense) and look forward to seeing how it all works.
  • March 12, 2008: I set all my videos so that comments will have to be approved by me before going public.
  • March 12, 2008: I'm taking a break from covering the news for a while because of personnel reasons. However, I might to still post videos sometime in the future. So stay tuned!

A crane came down during the night, killing a man sitting in his apartment, as well as significantly damaging multiple structures.

Guardian One, the King County Sheriff helicopter, uses its spotlight to investigate something below. This part of the Eastgate neighborhood is patrolled by County, but Bellevue often assists in emergencies (because BPD patrols the surrounding area).


February 12, 2007 - Coal Creek Parkway & Factoria Boulevard
An adult female managed to roll her car this Sunday evening. Police suspected that she was under the influence of alcohol.

A fire truck races to an automatic fire alarm (AFA).

Bellevue, along with most of western Washington, was hammered by a powerful windstorm in December of 2006. Bright purple flashes filled sky at night, evidence of electrical transformers blowing up.

Residents were shocked to wake up to see trees lying in their streets, in their yards, and unfortunately on their homes. Many neighborhoods were cut off from power for over a week and government agencies had a hard time cleaning all the debris off the roads.

Many owners abandoned their vehicles in the January 2007 snow storm. People were caught off guard by this snow storm and the hazardous road conditions.

Bellevue Police made a call out to Guardian One to find a missing mildly-autistic male juvenile.

News crews arrived on scene later that night. Most news stations did not catch on to this story until nighttime, even though the search started much earlier that day.

A woman failed to yield for police, so they brought out the spike strips. An unmarked trooper drives on the shoulder to get the scene. The chase started in Kirkland with KPD; Washington State Patrol and Mercer Island Police Department assisted (including MIPD's marine patrol boat).


July 16, 2007 - Somerset Neighborhood
At about 10:00 PM, a Bellevue Police officer shot an armed man. All the news outlets struggled to get this incident on the 11 o'clock news broadcast. Greg Grannis, the Bellevue Police Public Information Officer, talked to KOMO 4 News live via his cell phone.

On behalf of the "fire department," a security guard tells me that everyone with a camera has to move away from the scene. "The fire department wants the cameras back!" He told me. And after a short discussion, I did what he told me.
